BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler Community Foundation will hold its annual Match Day on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

The Buhler Community Foundation advisory board has committed to matching $10,000 in gifts to the Fund for Buhler.

Money and assets given to the community foundation are invested and the earnings from the investments are put back into the community each year in the form of grants. Since its inception, the Buhler Community Foundation has awarded more than $49,000 in grants.

Four funds will be accepting donations on Match Day:

Fund for Buhler
Buhler Public Health Fund
Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community Endowment Fund
Buhler USD 313 Educational Endowment Fund

Donations must be made on Match Day at the Mustard Seed or Sunny’s Cafe. Donations will be accepted at the Mustard Seed between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. or at Sunny’s Cafe between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Donations to the Fund for Buhler will be matched dollar-for-dollar while matching funds last. Forms will be available at both locations to indicate which endowment will benefit from your donation.
