Burrton Woman Injured After Two Vehicle Accident Wednesday

A 69-year-old Burrton woman was injured after a two vehicle accident on U-S 50 highway Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 71-year-old Larry Cole of Countyline, Oklahoma was west-bound on the highway in Burrton and turned into the path of an east-bound car driven by 37-year-old Peter Urwiller of Inman.

A passenger in Cole’s vehicle, Alice Williams of Burrton was taken by EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson for treatment of injuries.

Both Cole and a second passenger escaped injury. Urwiller and his passenger also escaped injury.

The accident occurring around 4:30 p-m Wednesday at U-S 50 and Bermack Road in Burrton.
