HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Reno County Commission Tuesday will tackle a number of items on their agenda.

That includes, as part of the consent agenda, the resolution which will allow NextEra Energy to build a temporary 199-foot meteorological tower.

The commission will also consider a job incentives agreement with eNGines LPG, LLC over their recent purchase of the former Betts Bakery building to create 56 qualifying full-time employment positions prior to June 30, 2023.

Also on the agenda is consideration of an engineering proposal from Lochner to design approximately 16 ADA compliant bus shelters and concrete pads as required by the KDOT Transportation Alternatives grant award for an engineering base fee of $17,200.

Also to be considered is approval for Community Corrections Policy Revisions – The Kansas Department of Corrections updated the Standards Manual for Community Corrections. Therefore, twenty agency policies needed to be updated.

Additionally, Commissioners will  consider approval of a recommendation by Public Works Director David McComb to purchase one 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman Crew Cab 4X4 Long Box Pickup Truck in the amount of $31,837 from Allen Samuels Auto Group, Hutchinson, to replace a vehicle totaled in an accident on September 23, 2018.
