TOPEKA – A 54-year-old Augusta man has been sentenced to more than 16-years in federal prison for methamphetamine trafficking. He also was ordered to forfeit $7,810 in drug proceeds and three handguns.

Thomas E. Church pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

The case was investigated by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
