HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County Sheriff Randy Henderson advises that phone calls soliciting money for law enforcement training are not from a legitimate organization.

He admits that he can’t say 100 percent that it’s not legitimate, but doubts that it is.

He adds that, if it is legitimate, the caller should be able to provide a phone number that you can verify by contacting the Reno County Sheriff’s Office.
