DODGE CITY, Kan. — In a three-game skid and out of the Top 20, Hutchinson (6-4, 3-3) looks for some momentum heading into the Salt City Bowl.

To finish the regular season, HutchCC travels to Dodge City (4-6, 1-5) for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Conquistadors experienced a three-game losing streak earlier this season before beating Fort Scott in mid-October. Dodge City is now on a two-game losing streak and has lost five of its last six contests.

Meanwhile, Hutchinson (6-3, 3-2) made a move at quarterback and looks to snap a two-game skid.

INDEPENDENCE, Kan. — No. 16 Hutchinson faces No. 6 Independence in a contest that could determine the conference champion. Independence has not lost in conference play, while HutchCC lost its first conference matchup last week against Butler.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The No. 16 Grizzlies (5-2, 3-2) enter Gowans Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff against the No. 9 Blue Dragons (6-1, 3-0) Saturday. Originally set for a noon kickoff, weather forced the teams to schedule a later time. Homecoming festivities will take place at halftime.

The Hutchinson/Butler rivalry runs deep, with the Grizzlies holding a two-game lead on the Dragons heading into the 94th matchup.

Butler’s defense gives up less than 120 yards on the ground and only 109 through the air a game. Hutchinson allows only 84 rushing yards a game and 164 in the air.

IOWA FALLS, Iowa — Despite a bye week, HutchCC moved up in the NJCAA football rankings to No. 12. Undefeated in the conference (3-0), the Blue Dragons travel to Iowa and take on the Panthers of Ellsworth (3-3).

Ellsworth has a two-game winning streak against Hutchinson. Both wins came in Gowans Stadium. In 2015, HutchCC bolted out to a 35-0 lead, just to watch the Panthers score 42 unanswered to win the game 42-35.

Last year’s battle saw Ellsworth pull out of town with a three-point victory.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Ranked for the first time in 13 polls, the No. 20 Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons (4-1, 3-0) look to remain undefeated at home this year against the struggling Tritons of Iowa Central (0-5).

The Tritons have not won since Oct. 10, 2015, and lost every game (0-11) in the 2016 campaign.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — It’s HCC vs. HCC as the Highland Scotties (2-1, 1-1) enter Gowans to take on the Blue Dragons (3-1, 2-0). Both teams received votes in the latest NJCAA poll, but were not ranked in the top 20.

Aaron Arnold’s Scotties have a two-game winning streak against Rion Rhoades and the Blue Dragons. Since 2014, the home team in this series is (3-0).

GARDEN CITY, Kan. — The Broncbusters  (2-1) lost last week to Independence. HCC (2-1) put up a record 91 points against Rezolution Prep Academy.

Garden City beat HCC in Gowans Stadium last year without scoring an offensive touchdown.
