CHENEY, Kan. — The Memorial Day weekend is still a week away, but officials at Cheney State Park say all campsites with service are booked.
Officials say there are a number of primitive campsites with fire rings still available.
For the first time in three seasons, Cheney will offer a full-service marina for the entire summer. The park says the lake is in good shape with very little debris. Fishing is expected to be good.
Cheney typically hosts about 50,000 visitors during the summer holidays.
