It was about a year now since the City of Hutchinson adopted the revisions to the Hutchinson Zoning Regulations.
It appears to have been a fairly smooth transition and city officials say they have received a lot of positive feed back.
But, planning officials say several land uses were inadvertently left out of the, “Table of Land use categories.” They also want to add a, “table of parking,” and “loading requirements.”
Planning Director Nancy Scott says these uses include hair salons, massage therapy studios, video and game rental stores, tattoo and body piecing parlors, counseling offices, and solar panel manufacturing.
The Hutchinson Planning Commission is expected to complete a public hearing on the proposed revisions to the zoning regulations soon, and make a formal recommendation to the City Council to adapt the revisions.
