HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The city is partnering with Bretz and Young Injury Lawyers and Eagle Radio to bring you this year’s community Fourth of July celebration on Monday, July 4th at 10:00pm at the Kansas State Fairgrounds parking lot at 23rd and Plum. The spectacular firework display is free and open to the public.

No vehicle access will be allowed inside the 23rd and Plum parking lot except for public safety vehicles. All other Kansas State Fair parking areas will be open and free to the public.

The Kansas State Fair will be holding a scheduled event in the grandstands, so public viewing will not be allowed inside the grandstands.

For safety reasons, the use of personal fireworks on the Kansas State Fairgrounds property is prohibited before, during and after the fireworks display.

An alternative date of Tuesday, July 5th at 10:00pm has been set in case of bad weather.

We here at Eagle and Hutchpost will update you of any change.
