WICHITA – John Clevenger, president, chairman and CEO of Commerce Bank, Wichita region, announced today that Collin Stieben has been promoted to the Business Banking Division manager role and will lead Commerce’s commercial banking supported by Business Banking team leader, Craig Duerksen and Treasury Services team leader, Todd Anciaux, effectively immediately.
In his new role, Stieben will be responsible for the Business Banking management of Commerce Bank’s Wichita region which includes Wichita, Derby, El Dorado and Hutchinson. He will replace Douglas D. Neff who has been named chairman and CEO of Commerce Bank, Springfield, MO Region.
Stieben has been at Commerce for ten years, most recently as senior vice president and Business Banking team leader. Collin was the 1996 recipient of the Clay Barton Memorial Scholarship and graduated summa cum laude from Wichita State University.
“Collin has demonstrated leadership and success to earn this promotion,” commented Clevenger. “His consistent efforts have proven his ability to grow our bank and build solid customer relationships.”
Stieben is currently a board member for Center of Hope. He has served on the United Way Campaign Cabinet as a Pacesetter Committee Co- Chair and was a member of the 2010 Leadership Wichita Class. He is past president of the WSU Alumni Association, an alliance member of the Kansas Construction Network and a 2007 recipient of the Wichita Business Journal 40 Under 40 Class.
