HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 School District is always looking for mentors for its students.

Grandparents are invited to join Communities That Care for coffee and dessert Thursday, Sept. 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the Hutchinson Career and Technical Education Academy at 800 15th Circle. The Academy is on the northwest side of Hutchinson High School and may be accessed from either East 14th or 15th from Plum Street.

CTC screens and trains all volunteers for USD 308 and places volunteers in helpful roles. During the evening, grandparents and other interested individuals will learn how they can make an impact on students in the community.
