HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Last Saturday, Midwest Ford & Toyota Superstore provided trucks for the community to fill at Walmart with food items for those in need this holiday season.
Here are some of the numbers from the 7th Annual Stuff the Trucks event:
* Midwest Ford & Toyota Trucks: Collected 5,900 pounds of food
* Cash donations during the event from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – $700
Other donations from local sponsors:
* Fastlane Express Car Wash donated $500
* A & A Appliance $400
* Mike’s Rent-To-Own $400
* Hog Wild $400
* Pools Plus $400
* Prairie Star Health Center $400
Total dollar amount $3,200
Those still wanting to help can drop donations off at The Salvation Army.
