Reno County Counselor Joe O’Sullivan gave the County Commission the rundown on the recent tax sale for those who were delinquent for paying their property taxes. The county collected just over 435-thousand, 691-dollars.

The cost for having the sale itself, cost the county just under 31-hundred dollars. That figure comes from the fact that the county recovered, 41-thousand, 783-dollars, but incurred a cost of 44-thousand, 875-dollars, with the difference in the two at just under 31-hundred.

The county also abated or forgave, 52-thousand, 679-dollars during the sale.
