A private practice attorney from McPherson would prosecute the case against the wife of Senator Terry Bruce, if the Reno County Commission Tuesday approves it.

41-year-old Sarah Bruce was arrested back in December for DUI and possession of a controlled substance. She was also cited with a traffic infraction for unsafe backing after her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Spencer Cox of Hutchinson.

If approved by the board, the case will be prosecuted by attorney Gary Price.

Tuesday’s County Commission meeting begins at 9 a-m, at the Reno County Courthouse.
