After one of the better months for sales tax collections which occurred last month, revenue for the county fell by more then 38-thousand dollars, this for the month of April.
According to figures released by Reno County Treasure Clark Miller, April sales tax revenue totaled 314-thousand, 214-dollars. That’s still an improvement over April of last year where the total revenue for that month was 310-thousand, 915-dollars.
April tax receipts reflect shopping for the months of February.
To date, the county has taken in 1-million, 430-thousand dollars or about 60-thousand dollars ahead of the first four months of 2012.
