The latest sales tax numbers for Reno County show that for January, the amount collected was comparable to January of last year, but less then the amount collected in December.

According to the numbers released Friday by County Treasure Jan Hull, the county brought in 369-thousand, 605-dollars in January compared with 369-thousand, 587-dollars for the same period last year.

But, that number is a drop from what the county brought in last month when they collected 384-thousand, 717-dollars.

For the year 2013, the county collected 4-million, 474-thousand, 355-dollars, compared with 4-million, 204-thousand, 140-dollars in 2012.

The January numbers reflect November sales.
