The latest County Sales Tax numbers show the county brought in more money with the July numbers then they did in June, and also in July of last year.

County Treasure Clark Miller released the numbers Tuesday that show the county brought in 351- thousand, 514-dollars with the July numbers compared with 327-thousand, 379-dollars in June, and only 321-thousand, 549-dollars in July of last year.

So far, the county has brought in just over 2-million, 425-thousand dollars. That’s an increase over last year when the total to this point was at 2-million, 355-thousand, 128-dollars, a difference of just under 70-thousand dollars.

The sales tax numbers for July represent sales in the county for the month of May.
