HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Beginning next Monday morning, Oct. 24, the contractor for the Reno County Courthouse Security Project will be closing the front entrance to install the security partition in the lobby. The entrance will be closed for up to a week, however, the public will still be able to access the courthouse through the east door, the rear door, or the Law Enforcement Center.
County Administrator Gary Meagher says both the stairway and the elevator on the main floor of the courthouse will be open to allow the public to get to the upper floors of the courthouse.
They’re also getting closer to completing the handicap ramp outside of the main entrance to the courthouse with the concrete poured.
