Daylight saving time kicks in Sunday morning

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Daylight saving time begins this weekend. Clocks will spring one hour ahead.

This will bring more daylight to the evening hours as we head into spring. It also means we lose an hour of sleep over the weekend.

Clocks spring forward in the spring and fall back in the fall season.

Daylight saving time officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday.
