Debate scheduled for Oct. 5th in Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON Kan. – The Hutchinson Reno County Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate Current Chamber Logodebate on Wednesday Oct. 5.

The debate will feature the candidates for the 102 house, Jan Pauls and patsy terrell: and the 104th house seat featuring Steven Becker and Betty Taylor. The debate will run from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at the Career and Technical Education Center at 800 15th Circle. Doors to the event will open at 5:30.

Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Jason Ball will act as the moderator, and questions will be asked by a panel of two people.

Candidates will have the opportunity to make opening and closing statements.  

There is no cost to attend the Kansas Legislative Debate. Members of the Chamber and the general public are encouraged to attend.
