HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The small development along 17^th and Waldron took another step forward last night with the approval of the final plat by the Joint Subdivision Committee.

The land, which is located just east of Olive Garden, is owned by Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, but is being sold to a developer that wants to open two popular restaurant chains and two other retail businesses. Under the proposal, the two restaurants would be a Rib Crib and the other a Buffalo Wild Wings, a popular sports bar chain.

The matter could come up for approval before the City Council as early as the Sept. 19^th regular meeting.
