Disturbance Leads To Arrest Of Hutchinson Man

A disturbance call to the 700 block of East 7th resulted in a Hutchinson man being taken to jail on a number of felony charges.

It started when 36-year-old Matthew Nickerson reported that he had been threatened with a knife at that location. Police arrived and after the investigation, 26-year-old Tony Gonzalez was arrested for aggravated assault, but also other drug related crimes including possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. An additional charge of interference with law enforcement was also added.

The incident was reported just before 11 p-m, and Gonzalez was jailed with a bond of 95-hundred dollars.
