Buhler 13109

BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler Community Foundation is excited to announce that donors have an opportunity to make their gifts greater if they donate on Match Day, Nov. 29. Donations could double thanks to the generosity of local patrons who have put forward matching funds.

Four funds will be accepting donations on Match Day:

Fund for Buhler, Buhler Public Health Fund, Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community Endowment Fund and Buhler USD 313 Educational Endowment Fund

Thanks to private donors, $15,000 of matching funds will help grow donations to the Fund for Buhler and $1,000 will grow donations to the Buhler USD 313 Educational Endowment Fund. Donations to any of the four funds will leverage additional support from the Kansas Health Foundation.

Donations must be made on Match Day at the Mustard Seed or Sunny’s Café. Donations will be accepted at the Mustard Seed at 214 N. Main between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. or at Sunny’s Café at 400 S. Buhler Rd. between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Donors are invited to enjoy coffee and a cookie at the Mustard Seed or a drink and a cookie at Sunny’s Café. Donations will also be accepted online at www.buhlercf.org until 5 p.m.

All checks must be made payable to the Buhler Community Foundation. Donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar while designated matching funds last for each endowment. There will be a form available at both locations to indicate which endowment(s) will benefit.

The Buhler Community Foundation’s mission is to inspire philanthropy, collaboration and innovative leadership to strengthen our community. The Buhler Community Endowment (Fund for Buhler) was launched on Aug. 23, 2009, to build a permanent charitable fund for the future needs and growth of our community.
