Two Wichita residents were arrested around 7 p-m Wednesday evening after a search warrant was served at a local motel and a vehicle.
20-year-old Duayne Russell Lewis and 29-year-old Tabelle Brooks were both arrested for possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell.
The searched vehicle belonged to Lewis and police discovered he had a suspended license. But, the main search was for room 210 at the Astro Motel. Inside they found about quarter ounce of crack cocaine, new packaging materials and a digital scale.
Under Miranda, Brooks admitted that whatever was found in the room belonged to him.
Both made appearances in front of Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen via video from the county jail, and bond for both set at 13-thousand, 500-dollars.
Both are expected back in court next Wednesday.
