MAIZE, Kan. — Hutchinson High School lost to Maize High 62-45 in Tuesday night’s game.

Maize was quick to grab hold of a 14-7 lead in the first quarter.

The Eagles headed into halftime with a 24-18 advantage.

The Salthawks shot 16 for 38 on the evening.

Hutchinson’s Tate Webster was the only Salthawk to score in double figures with 11.

Maize was up nine points at the end of the third and finished with a 62-45 victory.
