One person was taken to the hospital early Friday morning after a two vehicle crash at 56th & Hendricks. Injured was Jessica Turner of Hutchinson.

According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, Loren Cook was southbound on Hendricks and failed to stop at 56th. Turner who was eastbound was unable to stop to avoid the crash and the two vehicles collided.

Both vehicles went into the ditch on the southeast corner of the intersection. The Turner vehicle also struck the stop sign for north bound traffic on Hendricks.

Turner was transported by Reno County EMS, to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, with injuries to her left shoulder and wrist. Cook was not injured.

The accident occurring around 4:30 a-m Friday morning.
