HUTCHINSON, Kan.— A portion of East 43rd Avenue will be closed for two weeks beginning Wednesday. Hutchinson Public Works announced that the road will be closed between Lorraine and Halstead for sanitary sewer work. Local traffic will be allowed into the work zone, but the street will be closed off to all through traffic. The road is expected to be open again by Sept. 24.
