An elderly Hutchinson man has died from injuries he suffered when he was hit by a car as he walked along a street Sunday Afternoon.

Police say 77-year-old Neil J. Kralicek died Monday at a Wichita hospital. He was hit by a car driven by 43-year-old Valerie S. Avery at the intersection of Avenue A & Poplar just before 4 p-m.

Kralicek was airlifted Sunday to the Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita in critical condition, but died from his injuries. Avery was not injured.

Hutchinson police continue to investigate, and are asking anyone who may have witnessed this accident or has any information to contact them at 694-2816.
