Ex-con with case pending now charged with aggravated assault

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 23-year-old Hutchinson man discharged from the Kansas Department of Corrections on drug-related charges back on Oct. 17 was back before a judge Wednesday morning for a new case where he’s charged with two counts of criminal threat.

Kyler Milbrandt is accused of threatening Micheal Sifuentes, saying he would put him six feet under back on Aug. 14. He also stated during the confrontation that “you (Sifuentes) ran like your daughter or son is going to when I fire a few rounds at them with a high powered rifle.”

He has a case pending from October of last year when he was caught in the county with a stolen vehicle and drugs.

He served time for being in possession of drugs for a case from 2015.

The new case moves to a waiver-status docket on Nov. 29.
