HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 28-year-old Hutchinson man faces some serious charges after leading officers in a chase, then crashing into another vehicle — injuring three people.
Ethan Marr was jailed on charges of felony flee and elude, three counts of aggravated battery, burglary, theft of a vehicle, DUI, reckless driving and driving while suspended.
Police had taken a report of a stolen vehicle during the day Saturday from the area of Egbert Liquor near 5th & Monroe. Police later spotted the vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop. That led to the chase and crash.
The arrest came around 7:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of North Poplar. He’s jailed a $39,250 bond.
Marr was just discharged by the Kansas Department of Corrections on Feb. 28 with convictions for theft, obstruction, drugs, burglary and criminal damage.
Unless he makes bond, Marr should make a first appearance in court Monday morning.
