HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Parks Department announced that the Fairgrounds Splash Pad, located on North Severance, will be closing for the season on Tuesday, Sept. 4. However, the other two remaining splash facilities at Rice Park and Avenue A will remain open.

This splash pad is closed earlier than the other splash pads so parking can be used for Kansas State Fair visitors.  The Avenue A and Rice Park Splash Pads will remain open until Sept. 24 and are open daily from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.
