Fire at McDonald’s

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson fire crews were called out to the 4th Avenue McDonald’s around 10:30 last night for a Fire graphicstructure fire.

When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from one of the fryers. A small fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes. Damage was confined to the fryer and hood system. The restaurant was occupied at the time of the fire, but there were no injuries. Crews were on the scene for about two hours.

Damage is estimated at around $15,000.
