Keith Hughes, CEO, of First Nation Bank has announced that First National Bank of Hutchinson has acquired the assets of, and officially merged with, First National Bank of Southern Kansas (FNBSK) effective Monday.
The merger increased The First’s asset size to approximately $605 million.
First National Bank of Hutchinson is a locally owned, independent community bank, now with ten locations and ten ATMs in the communities of Andale, Haven, Hutchinson, Goddard and Mount Hope. The three locations of the former FNBSK (Andale, Goddard and Mount Hope) will operate as branches of The First.

In addition to Mobile Banking and eStatements, customers will also have access to asset management and estate planning services through The First’s Wealth Management Department.
