HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Friday is Hutch High’s Salthawk Service Day. Students will give a little something back to the community.
First responders will also be treated to breakfast by Rene Sullivan’s seminar class that day.
“My seminar class wants to show that all first responders are greatly appreciated,” Sullivan said.
The invitation includes police, fire, EMT, military, Westar lineworkers, Kansas gas service line repair, and City of Hutchinson water line repair. “All of these men and women get called out at any time during the day or night to keep our city safe and running smoothly,” Sullivan said. “We would like to invite them, whether they are on or off duty, and their immediate family to enjoy a free pancake breakfast.”
Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Hutchinson High School cafeteria.
