HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 Board of Education will kick off the start of the new fiscal year during tonight’s agenda session. The board will name a new president and vice president, as well as name the designated newspaper and financial institutions.

The board will also do some house cleaning when it comes to its policy manual. The board approved the number of calendar hours for the district this year: 1,116.

Also tonight, the board will seek approval for the sale of this year’s home built by the building trades class. The asking price for the home at 2817 Morris Rd. is $280,000.

Tonight’s USD 308 board meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the school district offices at 1520 N. Plum.
