Fly-in coming to Hutchinson Regional Airport

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Regional Airport will host an aviation event and open house on May 5.

The 2018 Fly-In will include the A-26 “Lady Liberty,” a Grumman C-1a Trader, and a Lockheed T-33. Aircraft will arrive throughout the day.

There will also be a pancake breakfast feed, an outdoor burger bar and aircraft rides for purchase.

The public is invited to attend at no charge, but due to the overwhelming response to a similar event in 2014, airport officials request attendees to use the airport vehicle entrance “E” on Airport Road across from Arconic Aerospace.

Once inside the gate, volunteers will guide vehicles to a parking location near the displayed aircraft.
