HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Gas prices dropped locally in the last 24 hours now at a $1.99 per gallon for regular unleaded. That at all of the Kwik Shops as well as the Dillons gas station near the market store. Prices were ranging from $2.02 to $2.04 per gallon as late as Monday.

So Hutch joins other gas stations around the state with prices once again below $2.00 per gallon.

Topeka is the 10th least expensive metro in the country today at $1.93. Wichita also made the list of top 50 least expensive metros in the country, ranked at 45, with an average of $2.03. Kansas is now ranked 8th in the country for the lowest price average. These numbers according to Triple A, Kansas.

The average price across the state is $2.06.
