HUTCHINSON, Kan.— A Hutchinson girl was injured after she was hit by a car Tuesday afternoon. 

Hutchinson Police report that 4-year-old Abiegaile Branscom was playing in a motorized toy car when she was hit by 50-year-old Danell Branscom who was backing her vehicle out of the driveway. The girl was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and later airlifted to Wesley medical Center where she was listed in fair condition.

The accident happened at 4:18 p.m. in the 500 block of Cloverdale Drive.
