Governor Sam Brownback and Kansas Ag Secretary Dale Rodman will host a Kansas Agriculture Appreciation Luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 14, during the Kansas State Fair here in Hutchinson.

Governor Brownback and Secretary Rodman will be joined by the Kansas State Board of Agriculture at the luncheon to show appreciation and gratitude to members of the agricultural community.

The Peterson Brothers will perform one of their agricultural advocacy parodies live during the event. The luncheon will be catered by From the Land of Kansas member The Wichita Brewing Company and will feature locally-sourced ingredients for the meal.

The luncheon will be held in an outdoor tent immediately west of the Meadowlark Building.
