The Hutchinson Community College Board of Trustees voted recently to approve an increase in the tuition for HCC for fall 2013 of $4.00 per credit hour, bringing the cost per credit hour to $71.00 for in-state tuition. Tuition costs for out-of-state also increased by $4.00 per credit hour and international students increased by $4.25 per credit hour. Reno County residents will continue to receive a $5 remittance on their tuition which will bring the total per credit hour for a Reno County resident to $66.

The board also approved the renewal of the contracts for the four HCC Vice Presidents and approved a succession plan for the President of the College, to provide for the contingency of temporary or permanent incapacitation of the individual holding the position of President.
