Reno County residents can get information on the Head Start and Early Head Start programs during a series of application clinics in in February.

Head Start is a Monday to Thursday half-day center-based preschool program while Early Head Start is a once-a-week, personalized 90-minute home-based program. Children have to be 3 or 4 years old on or before August 31 of the year enrolled to be eligible for Head Start. Children who are too young for Head Start may be eligible for Early Head Start.
