HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The preliminary hearing for a South Hutchinson woman went into recess after the state told Judge Joe McCarville that she may need a lawyer for perjuring herself on the stand.

The witness, Lindsey Galyean, claimed she didn’t remember talking with a South Hutchinson police officer about drug activity involving Amy Irvin. She’s accused of being in possession of methamphetamine and other drugs with the intent to distribute with Morgan Walkup.

Law enforcement served a search warrant to a home on West 6th in South Hutchinson on Oct. 3, 2017, and reportedly found the drugs and drug paraphernalia, including a scale.

They are also charged with two counts of aggravated endangerment of a child since two children were in the home at the time.

Judge McCarville rescheduled Irvin’s hearing for March 26.
