HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department’s Repeat Offender Unit, the HPD Detective Division and the Kansas Department of Corrections conducted an investigation at a residence belonging to 25-year-old Tanner Edwards in the 100 block of West 10th Avenue.
Edwards is currently on parole for convictions that include aggravated assault on law enforcement, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
During the search, distribution amounts of various drugs, three loaded handguns and $1,035 — believed to be drug proceeds — were seized.
Edwards was arrested for possession of cocaine, marijuana and Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia and three counts of a felon in possession of a firearm. He’s being held on a $37,000 bond.
