HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department’s Fraternal Order of Police chapter is sponsoring a skating event for kids headed back to school.

Children from kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to skate with the FOP on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Skateland at 3101 N. Lorraine.

The event is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There will also be 100 random drawings for $40 gift certificates, a book bag and a pair of shoes from Walmart in Hutchinson.

Admission is free.
