There may have been a little frustration if you were one of the people trying to call Hutchinson High School Wednesday. According to district spokesman, Ray Hemman, their voice over IP phone system was not operational for awhile Wednesday afternoon, but was corrected by late afternoon.

There was no emergency at Hutch High, but those who tried calling the school may have gotten a voicemail instead of a real person.

District officials did use AlertNow to let parents know via email and phone that their calls may not go through to Hutch High, however, the Information Technology staff were successful, and the phone lines are again fully functional at Hutchinson High School.
