A Hutchinson man was denied a bond reduction after he allegedly threatened his sister with a handgun.
But, Steven Roberts claims that Frankie Roberts fabricated what happened and wanted the judge to lower his 5-thousand dollar bond because he claims his innocent. But, Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen told the defendant that he is accused of pointing the gun at her and threatening to shoot her after the two had an argument.
Assistant District Attorney Andrew Davidson told the judge he thought the bond was appropriate considering the charge.
The judge denied the request for a bond reduction and Roberts will be back in court next Wednesday for a status hearing in the case.
