HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 51-year-old man who already has a protection from abuse order against him is now facing possible charges of aggravated battery – domestic violence.
Brian Goodwin got into an altercation with his girlfriend after the two argued about him chatting with another woman.
He is accused of striking the victim with a wooden board, causing a lump and an abrasion on her forehead.
She was found outside the home in the 300 block of West 6th around 11:25 p.m. Tuesday and told police what happened.
Goodwin was found at a home on 9th Street, where he does not reside, hiding in a closet. He was arrested for violating the protection from abuse order.
He’s jailed on a bond of $10,500 and will be back in court next week.
