The Reno County Drug Unit making an arrest of a Hutchinson man on multiple drug charges.

Alexander Wayne Davis is free on bond facing possible charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia to distribute drugs, no tax stamp, possession of Oxycontin pills, and personal use drug paraphernalia. Drug Unit Detective Jeremy Hedges says they also found some cocaine residue, and a large amount of cash kept in safe of his residence at 322 West C.

As far as the marijuana is concerned, Davis allegedly had 17-bags in ounce quantities of high grade marijuana which Hedges says would have a street value of 300 to 350-dollars.

His bond set at 9-thousand, 500-dollars and he was able to post that bond. That means he’ll make a court appearance at a later date.
