A 29-year-old Hutchinson man made a court appearance this morning after he led police on a chase and once caught had drugs on him.

Robbie Calvin of 2617 East 2nd is facing potential charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, no tax stamp, interference with law enforcement, felony flee and elude and driving while suspended.

He was stopped in the 400 block of North Porter around 7:20 p-m. He was taken to jail where he remains on a 12-thousand dollar bond.

He should make another court appearance next Wednesday or sooner if the state files formal charges.
