A one day trial for a 30-year-old Hutchinson man accused of aggravated assault was found guilty by a Reno County jury after 40-minutes of deliberations.

Kyle Poppelreiter was found guilty of threatening Bruce Griffin with a wooden walking stick back on June 19, 2012. The two had apparently gotten into an altercation leading to the threat.

The charge is a level seven felony and sentencing is set for July 19 in front of Judge Trish Rose.
